If there is one place in the city that stands out above the rest for the whole family to enjoy being close to nature whilst sharing experiences with animal life, this is the Zoo and Botanical Gardens. If you are visiting Jerez with children you cannot fail to visit the Zoo, a very pleasant place to walk around and discover almost 200 different species of animal originating from all five continents, amongst which we find a good number of endangered species.

The Honey and Bee Museum at Rancho Cortesano introduces us to the interesting world of beekeeping, with authentic and amusing demonstrations of the techniques and skills involved, offering hands-on workshops that provide a greater understanding of the natural environment of the bee.
