Tradición Winery
Its origins as Bodegas CZ date back to 1650, making it the winery with the oldest registered history in the Marco de Jerez. In 1771 it received its first order from the court of Prince William Henry, Duke of Gloucester, and in 1887 it became an official supplier to the Spanish Crown. Refounded in 1998 by Joaquín Rivero, it exclusively markets wines with VOS classification, aged more than 20 years, and VORS classification, aged more than 30 years. The 19th-century winery complex lies within the perimeter that defined the walled city during the Muslim period, just a short distance from the Jerez Archaeological Museum. Inside, the art gallery inaugurated in 2005 houses a private collection of Spanish painting with works by Goya, Velázquez, Zurbarán, Murillo, Sorolla, El Greco, and Picasso, bringing together wine heritage and artistic legacy in a single space.
