Centro Andaluz de Flamenco
Located in the Plaza de San Juan, near the churches of San Juan de los Caballeros and Santiago, in the historic center, the Pemartín Palace is the current headquarters of the Andalusian Flamenco Documentation Center, a service aimed at conservation, research and dissemination of flamenco art. In this space there is an outstanding archive of graphic and sound documentation that shows the roots of flamenco in the culture of the city and Andalusia.
The palace was built in the 15th century, being rehabilitated in the 18th and 20th centuries, it has two floors, its valuable Mudejar ornament stands out and it has an outstanding decoration with plant motifs, stained glass windows and rockery. The beautiful interior patio is responsible for the distribution and organization of the entire building.
