The Jerez Municipal Archeological Museum is located in the San Mateo quarter, heart of the ancient hispano-muslim medina and one of the places of greatest historical flavour in Jerez

The permanent exhibition is structured into three large thematic blocks in which, by making use of representative archaeological pieces and with the support of audio-visuals, interactive screens, models and recreations, a path is laid out through the history of the city and the whole municipal area.

Its different galleries display thematic sections such as collecting, numismatics and epigraphy.
