Faustino González Winery
Founded in 1972 by Faustino González Aparicio, when he acquired the soleras originating from the Alcázar de Jerez, dated to 1789, and transferred them to the winery building belonging to his wife, Carmen García-Mier, in the Cruz Vieja area of the San Miguel neighbourhood. With more than 250 years of age, these soleras are among the oldest in the Marco de Jerez. Since then, the winery has remained in the hands of the same family, preserving a winemaking tradition that remains faithful to the traditional criaderas and solera ageing system in American oak casks. Its location in the San Miguel district, a neighbourhood closely associated with the flamenco heritage of Jerez, further strengthens the connection between wine, culture, and tradition.
A visit to the winery offers the opportunity to discover an authentic place where time and history can be felt in every corner.
