Carriage Musem

Equestrian

The Carriage Museum aims to promote, increase awareness of and maintain the tradition of carriage driving by combining a rich material heritage with new technologies. It is located in an early 19th century Jerez winery, a space which is unique in its kind and where carriages, harnesses, horses and equestrian costumes are all on display in one single exhibition.

The museum consists of five rooms or exceptional spaces which take visitors on an active journey through the world of carriage driving, a journey that includes an excellent collection of carriages and harnesses along with visits to the stables and work areas, all complemented by innovative multimedia systems.

The main exhibition space is where the most emblematic carriages, dating from the 19th and 20th centuries, are on display along with a collection of the best harnesses and carriage driving accesories. The tour continues through the stables where we can admire the horses themselves

The costume room, located in the old pot still of the winery, exhibits a permanent collection of equestrian attire.
