It is located at Km. 6 of the CA-501 Highway from Jerez to Cortes, next to the district of Estella del Marqués.
The origins of this park date back to the late nineteen-sixties when it was decided to plant red Eucalyptus (Eucaliptus camaldulensis) and Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis) with the aim of obtaining timber for commercial purposes.
It is now a recreational zone covering 67.4 hectares.
