Christmas provides Jerez with yet another festive cycle with its own distinctive flavour, and the city has clearly managed to impregnate its distinctive character on the festive season.

The traditional Christmas Zambombas of Jerez, declared of Cultural Interest, consist of gatherings celebrated around an open fire in a courtyard or on the street accompanied by Flamenco carols, wine and typical local dishes. In addition, Nativity scenes, the Three Kings Parade, rich local cuisine and spectacular Christmas lights all combine to make this festive season the ideal time to visit and enjoy all the city has to offer

The city takes on a Christmas ambience and bustles with life. Shopping acquires a major role and the city centre presents us with a wide range of possibilities, added to which are the large shopping centres located on the outskirts of the city.
