Founded in 1877 by Alexander Williams, grand connoisseur and admirer of sherry wines, and Arthur Humbert, specialist in international relations.

The impressive group of buildings that form the winery has been awarded the Spanish National Architecture Award and its facilities are the largest in Europe, occupying a total of 180,000m². In total, more than 30 million litres of sherry and brandy rest and age in 60,000 casks of American oak under the traditional system of “Criaderas and Soleras”

A visit to Bodegas Williams & Humbert gives us the opportunity to tour its vineyards, see the majestic winery, the collection of original winery tools dating back to the 18^th century, enjoy an equestrian show with pure bred Spanish horses and taste its excellent sherries and brandies. It has a “Sherry Museum” with displays of machinery and implements related to the vineyard, the winery and the world of sherry.
