In addition to the usual work of documentation, the CAF carries out the labour of promoting the activities related to flamenco produced both in Spain and abroad: courses, competitions, festivals, scholarships, etc.

The centre has several directories that may be consulted by the public, containing the addresses of peñas flamencas all over the world, details of festivals and competitions, dance and guitar schools, specialists in making guitars, specialized shops, etc.

The facilities of Andalusian Flamenco Centre include two exhibition spaces. These house a permanent portrait exhibition of historical flamenco figures and a collection of lithographs from the 19^th and 20^th centuries with a common flamenco theme. In addition, temporary exhibitions are held of photographs, sculptures, antique guitars, etc.
