The church of San Juan de los Caballeros is located in the San Juan quarter of the city. It is one of the six original parishes founded by King Alfonso X the Wise on the sites of the old mosques after the reconquest of the city in the year 1264.

It was designed by two great architects of the time: Hernán Ruiz II and Alonso de Vandelvira.

A construction of great artistic interest. It has only one nave divided into three sections: the 14^th century mudéjar apse, a gothic section and the third section renaissance.
