Genatur Rural Tourism, specialising in environmental education and rural tourism, was set up in 1998 by a multi-disciplinary group of professionals. Its range of activity centres on the province of Cádiz, but they are able to organize any type of activity in other locations throughout Andalusia.

The province of Cádiz presents a diversity of spaces and unexpected landscapes, from medium-sized mountains to the beaches of the Costa de la Luz. Amongst all of the natural spaces perhaps those worthy of special mention are: the Alcornocales Nature Park, Sierra de Grazalema, La Breña and the Marshes of Barbate, the Bay of Cádiz, the Straits of Gibraltar, Doñana and the Lagoons of the Cádiz Nature Reserves.

Genatur actively participates in environmental preservation projects, the promotion of nature and the protection of species, as well as facilitating the practice of a range of different activities, workshops and excursions to increase awareness of the natural environment.
