Jerez enjoys a privileged location in the Province of Cádiz. The province lies in the south of the Iberian Peninsula, just 14 kilometers from the Africa continent, bordered by the provinces of Sevilla and Huelva to the north, Malaga to the east, and the Straits of Gibraltar to the south. It provides a meeting point between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, producing 260 kilometers of coastline with extensive beaches of fine sand combining to form the idyllic Costa de la Luz de Cádiz.

Moreover, Cádiz is a province rich in natural spaces to delight lovers of nature, be it of land, sea or air, which include Los Alcornocales Natural Park, an ideal natural space, a Mediterranean forest where visitors can observe different species of animal, go canoeing, canyoning, paragliding, hot-air ballooning or visit archaeological remains, etc. The Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve, is made up of the different towns and villages that form part of the Ruta de los Pueblos Blancos, a unique and singular attraction of spectacular scenic and environmental beauty. Another great attraction for lovers of nature is the Via Verde de la Sierra de Cadiz, a route of 36km in length that passes through the towns of Olvera, Coripe and Puerto Serrano, offering a wide range of sporting, educational, touristic and environmental activities.

The Parque Natural del Estrecho offers you the opportunity to go whale watching, visit caves with prehistoric rock paintings or stroll along fine sandy beaches. In Parque deLa Breña y Marismas de Barbate, walk along the clifftops to enjoy impressive ocean views. In the Bahía de Cádiz, take a boat ride or a bike to visit the fish farms and salt pans along the River San Pedro and the Parque de los Toruños. The Doñana National Park, protected space and Biosphere Reserve, is the largest ecological reserve in Europe and its wetlands and pine forests can be visited from Sanlúcar de Barrameda to observe birdlife with access by boat on the Real Fernando or in off-road vehicles.
